A Quick and Painless Solution to Endodontic Issues

Many people dread the thought of having a root canal – largely due to negative perceptions stemming from the portrayal of this treatment as painful in films, on TV and in the media. This is based on how dentists used to approach the treatment using old-fashioned techniques and antiquated technology.

These days, we’re much better equipped and dental techniques have moved on a long way. In fact, it’s not unheard of for patients to actually fall asleep during the procedure!

If you have a tooth that requires a root canal, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to answer any questions you may have and will make sure you’re well taken care of.

How it Works

We conduct an initial examination of your teeth.

Anaesthetic is applied to ensure you’re comfortable

The infected nerve tissue within the tooth is carefully cleaned along with any irritated pulp or debris.

The tooth is filled and a short-term filling is applied.

A second appointment is scheduled where we check the tooth is stable and then fill the root canal system with a special filling material. The top of the tooth is secured with a filling.

Root canal treatment can weaken the tooth and, in many cases, endodontic patients may require a subsequent appointment to fit a crown that will fully protect the tooth.
