Today, dental implants are totally different from the ‘false teeth’ you’ve no doubt seen and heard about before. They are fixed in position permanently using sturdy titanium dental implants, they look and feel exactly like the genuine article and can be used to substitute just about anything from an individual tooth to a complete set.
First we’ll start by using our on-site machine to take an X-Ray and make certain your jawbone is strong enough to take implants. In a small number of cases, a strengthening process is required before starting the treatment.
As soon as we’re positive all is well, we’ll fit the titanium implants in a short and pain-free procedure under local anaesthetic. These will act as a completely new root for your replacement teeth.
Once the new teeth are in place, it usually takes about seven days before you can go back to appreciating your favourite foods once more. But don’t forget you can start smiling again immediately.
